Chidimma Osinobi

Chidimma Osinobi is a researcher and writer with a background in Igbo history and cultural documentation. Her contributions to Mkomigbo focus on the historical and political dimensions of Igbo experience — the pre-colonial political traditions, the colonial encounter, and the post-independence struggles for Igbo political recognition. She brings particular expertise in the governance traditions of Igboland and the history of resistance movements from the Ekumeku through to the contemporary self-determination movement.

She works from primary sources in Igbo oral tradition as well as from published academic scholarship, and is committed to the platform's standard of acknowledging uncertainty while maintaining accuracy on what is known.
